Dr. Nicole Smith is a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Minnesota and New York and has years of experience working with children, teens, and adults of all ages. Dr. Nicole is a veteran of the US Air Force and completed her undergraduate education while stationed in England. She graduated from the UMUC, Europe with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Business Administration. She holds a Master’s and Doctorate degree in Clinical Child Psychology from the Wisconsin School of Professional Psychology in Milwaukee, WI. She completed her pre-doctoral internship in infant and child psychology at the Institute for Infant and Preschool Mental Health in East Orange, NJ and completed her post-doctoral fellowship in infant/child/adolescent psychology at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital, in NYC. Dr. Nicole has worked in a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, hospitals, group homes, in-home, and now online! She has experience providing treatment for all types of difficulties that include trauma, depression, anxiety, bipolar, schizophrenia, personality disorders, parenting problems, mother/infant attachment issues, adolescent issues, Autism Spectrum Disorders, psychological assessment, and general life difficulties. She enjoys helping others to make permanent change in their lives for the better and to reach their full potential by staying in tune with themselves and maintaining “connectedness.” Dr. Nicole does this in her own life by exercising, enjoying nature, spending time with her family (including her beloved dog) and friends.
