MEET KAYLA SWEET
Kayla Sweet is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the State of South Carolina. She earned her Master’s of Applied Clinical Psychology in 2018 from the University of South Carolina Aiken.
Since graduating, Kayla has gained experience with both inpatient and outpatient populations with a vast range of mental health diagnoses. In addition to providing telehealth services, Kayla currently works in corrections, providing mental health services to incarcerated individuals.
Kayla utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing techniques in her work with clients. Kayla works with topics such as anxiety,
depression, life stress, relationship problems, managing work/life balance, self-esteem, maladaptive coping skills, and interpersonal skills. She also has experience working with managing personality disorders.
Kayla lives in Columbia, SC with her husband and 3 dogs. She enjoys crafting, playing with her dogs, and traveling with her husband.
