Synergy eTherapy Interns
Our incredible interns are working towards earning their Master’s Degree in a counseling field.
They are all under supervision of a licensed professional counselor supervisor.
Interns charge a reduce fee for their therapy sessions ($50 or less) in order to better service a wide variety of clients in our communities. They may record therapy sesssions with your consent in order to bring it back to their supervision and really dive into clinical elements to help you in the best way possible!
Interns work with kids, teens, families, adults and couples!
Interns are usually in their rotation with us for about a year on average, so please ask about where they are in their training with us at Synergy. When they finish their rotation here, we do tend to transfer clients to another intern with openings and training in the area of your specific needs.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in warmth, empathy, and a nonjudgmental attitude. I strive to meet each client exactly where they are in life, creating a safe and trusting environment where they feel heard, understood, and empowered to take meaningful steps forward. I believe in working collaboratively to explore concerns and uncover the origins of challenges, focusing on understanding and growth rather than prescribing solutions.
I am particularly passionate about helping individuals navigate trauma, PTSD, and anxiety disorders. I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and person-centered techniques, tailoring my approach to each client’s unique needs.

Outside of the therapy room, I’ve been married for nine years and am a mom to three lively kids. Our home is full of joy, love, and a little bit of chaos—thanks in part to our three beloved dogs. I love animals so much that I’ve been a vegetarian for nearly 25 years. Our family loves spending time outdoors in the quiet countryside, whether that’s with friends or just each other. We’re big fans of all things games—board games, card games, video games, outdoor games—you name it, we probably play it!
Finding the right therapist matters. Real progress happens when you feel a sense of safety, connection, and trust. My goal is to meet you where you are and create a therapeutic space where you feel empowered to grow at your own pace. I’d be honored to walk with you as you explore, heal, and move forward.
