Life can be challenging – whether relationship problems with a spouse, partner or child, professional and work-related challenges, or if you’re struggling with depression, anxiety and mood related concerns, or recent or more historical trauma that triggers pain. Therapy can help you find your balance, heal and find a path forward towards the life you hope for.
I enjoy working with individuals (men, women and teens), couples, and families to help them move through the hardships they have been facing and find a new path forward! Areas of focus couples facing infidelity, and teens with trauma exposure.
For couples struggling through the fallout of infidelity, we first carve out a judgment-free space where both partners feel truly heard and seen. I’ll help each person unpack the shock, shame, and anger triggered by betrayal, teaching them to name and validate their emotions instead of burying or lashing out with them. By reframing the crisis as an opportunity for honest communication, structured exercises—like mirrored listening and “needs vs. wants” inventories will be introduced—that rebuild empathy and rebuild a shared narrative about what went wrong. As trust slowly returns, I’ll guide the couple to establish clear boundaries, craft realistic repair plans (including transparency rituals and check-ins), and co-create new relational rituals that reinforce safety and connection. The goal is not just healed, but stronger, more self-aware, and more deeply committed to one another.
Teenagers who have experienced trauma require a knowledgeable therapist who can walk them through a healing process, so they can return to their lives healthier and able to move forward. I use Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, considered the gold standard for helping adolescents work through their trauma history. This is a 12-18 session treatment, tailored to the specific young person and their story.
In our work together, I provide many years of experience working in the counseling field to help you heal and grow. I offer a counseling space that is safe but direct, compassionate, and non-judgmental. I’ll also suggest coping skills and therapeutic insights to help you move from what brought you here, into a brighter, more satisfying life.
