Learn more about therapy with me!

My therapeutic lens is influenced by a curiosity for both science and soul. I’m drawn to holistic
modalities like nutritional therapy, hormone health, and exploring the impact of environmental and societal factors on mental well-being. My experience as a recovery coach at an eating disorder treatment center has deepened my understanding of how psychological and physiological healing are intertwined.

Philosophically, I resonate with approaches that move beyond the ego and explore the deeper
layers of what it means to be human- from internalized beliefs and narratives to personal discovery and
interconnectedness. I’m especially interested in how cognition evolves with our anthropological and
cultural context, shaping the way we define and experience “mental health” today.

I grew up in Iowa, but moved to Oregon to expand my perspective and reconnect with myself in a
new environment. Living here has helped me nurture the parts of me that love nature, the arts, and slow,
intentional living. Outside of counseling, you’ll find me writing poetry, baking something cozy, sipping tea in a moody cafe, or wandering through a bookstore. I enjoy finding beauty in small, ordinary moments and meaning in romanticizing the everyday.

About Emma Haase, BA (Intern)

Hi, I’m Emma Haase. I’m currently pursuing my MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Grand
View University, graduating in May 2025. I believe therapy is a space where your voice matters and your
story is honored. My approach is grounded in integrative wellness- blending mind, body, and spirit, while
also drawing from person-centered, humanistic, and transpersonal therapies.

I meet people exactly where they are, whether they’re navigating anxiety, relationship shifts,
identity questions, emotional intensity, or just being human in today’s world. With a deeply intuitive and
sensitive nature, I don’t shy away from big emotions or existential questions. I welcome that rawness as
meaningful, worth exploring, and transformative.

I’m especially passionate about helping clients rebuild self-trust, reconnect with their intuition,
and find meaning in their inner experiences- even the messy ones. If you think and feel deeply, and want
more than just symptom relief- you want insight, connection, and clarity- I’d love to work with you.
